Pharmacy compounding is the ability to personalize a pharmaceutical product to fit the unique requirements of a specific patient. Our compounding pharmacist will prepare the appropriate ingredients using various compounding accessories. This may be done for various reasons such as patient difficulty swallowing solid pills or capsules and requiring a liquid to removing a non-essential ingredient that the patient has an allergy to.

Pharmacy compounding has many advantages. In cases where a commercial medication may be unavailable or delisted, our pharmacist may be able to compound the active ingredient so the patient can be looked after. Pharmacy compounding can allow our pharmacist to help patients who require bio-identical hormone therapy, testosterone therapy, pain management, skin disorders, hemorrhoids and rectal fissures, veterinary medications for your pets to custom flavouring for pediatric dosages.
